I went to my devices and saw that the cable needed troubleshooting so I did it and it didnt work. Rocksmith 2014 Edition is compatible with the original Rocksmith Real Tone Cable that plugs any real guitar directly into an Xbox 360, PS3, PC, or Mac. Later, when I came back to it I plugged in my cable but the game didnt see that the cable was plugged in. It dynamically adjusts the difficulty to your skill level, then slowly introduces more notes and phrases until you’re playing your favorite songs note-for-note. It's not actually very hard to do and I'm not certain even a shop technician would take enough care to meet Rocksmith's exacting standards. Just bought a Yamaha THR10ii and a cheap getaria wireless system on ebay, and came across the nocable post with the rs adio links. Rocksmith is REALLY fussy about pitch and intonation accuracy, so learning DIY guitar setup is another skill you can learn from it indirectly. I always end up giving up because it's annoying to have to set up /tidy up every time with the hdmi/separate audio cable + rocksmith cable.
